1. Handling with Reverence<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Clean Hands:<\/strong> Always wash and dry your hands before touching the canvas. Skin oils and acids can smudge the delicate mineral pigments over time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Hold the Edges:<\/strong> Avoid touching the painted surface directly. Handle the Thangka only by the silk brocade borders or the wooden rollers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Minimal Rolling:<\/strong> Try to avoid frequent rolling and unrolling, as this can cause the natural pigments to crack or flake over decades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    2. Ideal Environment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
